I’ve had varicose veins since I was 16 and it had slowly affected how I played sports and especially during the end of long work days from standing so much. My options were either to get the general vein extraction or go through the laser treatment. The vein extraction method was covered through OHIP, however the healing time was expected to be a month or so. I definitely couldn’t do that, and also the pain I heard through that procedure would be substantially more than this laser method.
